After a nail-biting match against Uruguay, in which the gods of football rewarded the superior technique of the Brazilians, 175 million "Green & Yellow" fans are getting ready for the battle that will take place on Sunday, against Argentina, in the final of the Copa América, an unprecedented final since these two teams never met in the decider of a Copa América.

Brazil, with 30 participations, managed only 6 titles, whilst bitter rivals Argentina amassed 14, including back-to-back titles in 97 and 99. Brazil took part in 18 finals, and in the previous 5 editions, they reached the finals in 4 occasions.

Brazil´s worst performance in all participations in Copa América came in the last edition, in Colombia 2001, when they were eliminated by Honduras in the quarterfinal, ending sixth overall.
