With less than 15 days remaining till the start of the Copa América, the popular tickets for the opening match are sold out, according to information disclosed by the Organizing Committee of the tournament. On Wednesday morning, the last of 11 thousand tickets for the North and South stands for the fixture scheduled for July 12th between hosts Peru and Colombia was sold.

There are still a few tickets available for the side stands, which will be sold out soon. Since last Thursday, the 17th, when the sales of individual tickets began in Trujillo, the corner of San Martin and Bolognesi streets was crowded with fans trying to book one of the 25 thousand seats on offer.

Due to this huge search for tickets, the organizers have decided to establish a limit of 8 tickets per person. According to information given at the tickets booths, located in the Saga Falabella stores, there is a great number of tickets available for the second match in Trujillo, scheduled for July 17th.
